Go talk to your vet. It depends very much on the cause and the stage and degree of problems. Generally treatment might include

If in acute/ end stage kidney failure iv fluids may help temporarily
If in chronic mild to moderate
A kidney diet - we use hills k/d but there are others. Significantly prolongs life
Drugs like fortekor may be appropriate to aid kidney function
Appetite stimulants may be used

Make sure dog has access to fresh clean water at all times as will need to drink more
